Capturing moments in time for the memories of the future
Hobby photographer with a keen interest in motorsport. My interest in photography began in the late 1960's and has grown over the years. If it goes fast, has wheels, makes noise, billows steam, fly's, then grab the camera and capture it for your memories in the future.
In the early years images were captured on black and white 35mm film, colour was only avaliable on 35mm slides. Colour prints came on the scene in the early 1970's, were expensive and usually had to be sent to Australia to be developed. Had a variety of cameras over these years - Yashica, Zenith (Russian) and the best of all the Olympus OM1. My first digital camera was a Kodak DX3600. Technology soon limited this camera so moved on to a Canon 300d, next Canon 400d and the last purchase the Canon 50d. Have a variety of Canon lens including EFS18-55mm, EFS17-85mm IS USM, EF 75-300mm, EF 90-300mm USM and EF 100-400mm 1:4.5-5.6L IS USM.
